Usually when we think or hear the word cartoon or animation a very humble and innocent picture present its self in our mind. Most of us think that animations are made for children. Well to some extent that is true in accordance only to cartoons. Anime is an entirely different story Infect some of the anime are specially produced for adults and are considered Rated R. Following are the 10 Rated R anime, which are full of scenes that are unappropriated for Children’s.
1. Berserk
The story follows a lone swordsman named Guts who is on a revenge quest against his best friend Griffith who betrayed him and all their group members’ in order to become God Hand.
Only Guts and Casca survives but Casca lost her sanity in the process. Original series aired from 1998 to 1999. A three-part movie remake named Berserk: The Golden Age Arc of the original series was released in 2012 to 2013.
Berserk is full of violence and nudity. If you are looking for an action-packed series full of blood and gore then Berserk is the one for you. It’s like Game of Thrones but with lots of monsters.
2. High School Of the dead
High School of the dead is a post-apocalyptic anime series, which follows the story of high school Teenagers and their struggle to survive the Post-apocalyptic world.
The protagonist of the story is Takashi Komuro. Currently, only one season has been aired.
The series is full of nude content and blood. In some parts of the series, nudity is used even when it is not needed. High school of the dead is considered Rated R.
The zombie outbreak turns most of the people into living dead and the main characters are trying to find their parents.
3. Basilisk: The Kouga Ninja Scrolls
In the year 1614 A.D, Two ninja clans must decide who the next succor of Japan would be through a battle of death between the two clans.
The emperor would be chosen according to the wishes of the winning side.
The two ninja clans are bitter rivals who and they have just recently come to an agreement through a supposed marriage and the treaty is shattered when each of the clan is ordered to annihilate every ninja of another clan.
Basilisk is full of explicit content, blood and gore with each battle new violence and nudity are born. Ninja in the anime battle with each other using both their might and body.
4. Kurozuka
Kurozuka follows the story of an immortal person as he tries to reunite with the love of his life. Series starts with our main character being pursued by his enemies and he hides in the woods where he finds beautiful women who turn out to be Immortal a vampire.
The main character only remember all this vividly. He pursues the love of his life for centuries.
Kurozuka is full of violence and mature content.
There is nudity and then there is blood. Even the dialogues are Rated R.
5. Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan is another entry in the list. Unlike Berserk and Basilisk the story, take place in the Gunpowder age.
A special type of 3D manure gear is used to fight large giants called Titans. Humans live inside walls, which protect them from man-eating Titans.
Protagonist Eren Yeager sees one of the Titan devoured his mother. He vows that he will not rest until every one of the Titan is dead.
The story then follows him as he joins the scout regiment in order to full fill his vow
.Attack on Titan is full of violence and is a Rated R anime. You never know when someone will die it always keep you on the edge of your seat.
6. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is a post-apocalyptic anime, which follow the story of a person name Ekoma. Ikoma stops the blood flow and is turned into Kabaneri, which are half humans, and half Kabani.
The story takes place in steampunk settings in Japan where stations are used as a fortress and Steam powered trains are the main source of transport between stations.
People live inside the stations, which are turned into cities. The protagonist is bitten by Kabni a zombie type creature that drinks human blood.
Ikoma stops the blood flow and is turned into Kabaneri, which are half humans, and half Kabani.
Kabaneri of the iron fortress is full of violence and blood although nudity is a little mild when compared to the other anime on the list.
7. Code Geass
Code Geass offer an alternative history of the world where the world is ruled by three superpowers The Holy Britannian Empire, Chinese Federation and Europia United.
While very few countries like Japan and Australia are independent until Japan is invaded by Holy Britannian Empire.
Lelouch is a prince of Holy Britannian Empire who is in hiding vows to destroy the holly Britannian Empire as he thinks that the Britannian Empire is responsible for the death of his mother and the blindness of his sister.
He is given the power to make people do whatever he desires and with this newfound power, he starts his quest for revenge.
Code Geass offer explicit content and mature style of storytelling. There is nudity in the series along with severe action pack story.
8. Fullmetal Alchemist : Brotherhood.
Fullmetal Alchemist takes place in a fantasy world in which people can use magic known as Alchemy. The alchemy allows users to use elements. However, an alchemist can never make living thing using alchemy. If he does so he will have to pay with a body part and him intern will receive the ability to use alchemy without drawing symbol.
The story follows the quest of two brothers who try to bring back their mother and doing so loses their body parts.
The younger brother loses complete body while the older just arm and then he sacrifices his leg in order to get his brother soul back, which he traps, in an armor. They search for philosopher stone in order to get their bodies back.
Full metal alchemist offers an action pack story of two brothers. The anime Fullmetal Alchemist is full of death and violence. There is a little nudity and mature content to.
9. Lord Marksman and Vanadis
Lord Marksman and Vanadis is set in the alternate version of Europe.
It follows the story of an expert bowman from a small noble family who is captured by War maiden (Powerful Female Magical warriors) while he is in prison his county is attacked by another lord and he makes a deal with the war maiden.
In return for her help, he must accept the rule of his enemy (War Maiden). Slowly their relation turns into love.
Lord Marksman and Vanadis is full of action then there is nudity and romance as the main characters are seen naked.
10. Drifters
Drifters take place in an alternate reality where famous people from earth are taken to a world where they must fight against the dark forces.
The evil force recruits evil people while the good force recruits good people. The protagonist is taken from 1600 A.D to another world so that he could help save the world from total destruction. Different drifters are taken from the different era of earth.
Drifters offers a content only suitable for mature people there is lots of blood and nudity. In a rape scene of drifters, a whole room is shown which is full of naked people.
