As the classic comedy movie completes almost its two decades, the controversial drama surrounding it continues to stay part of social media and every now and then it resurfaces. Recently, addressing to one of the comments from fan, Stiller made it clear: “I make no apologies for Tropic Thunder. Don’t know who told you that. It’s always been a controversial movie since when we opened. Proud of it and the work everyone did on it.”
Tropic Thunder was released almost two decades ago but the movie contiuunes to cause cpntrpovesial drama as lead actor Ben Stiller says he makes ‘no apologies’ for it.
The movie that was released in 2008 was boycotted for its portrayal of disabled people and minority groups with Marvel’s Robert Downey Jr donning blackface for the film.
Meanwhile, Stiller says he is ‘proud’ of doing the comedy movie.
