Marvel star Jeremy Renner hospitalized after snow plow accident

Actor Jeremy Renner has been hospitalized after an accident while plowing snow and is in a “critical but stable” condition.

Renner is a two-time Oscar nominee, nominated for Best Actor for The Hurt Locker in 2010 and Best Supporting Actor in 2011 for The Town.

He is perhaps best known for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he plays Hawkeye (Clint Barton), featuring most recently in last year’s Disney+ series named after his character.

As reported by the Reno-Gazette Journal, Renner has a home near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe in Nevada. A further report by the outlet revealed that a winter storm hit the area on New Year’s Eve leaving 35,000 people without power as the temperatures plummeted into the teens.
