In an episode of The Talk, Sarah Gilbert the infamous Darlene Conner from the 90s sitcom Roseanne opens up about her sexuality and how she accepted it with time. Gilbert shares that when she confided about her sexuality to co-actor actor Johnny Galecki who she also dated for a brief period, he played a very supportive role and held on to her secret for many years.
Roseanne was a big hit in the 90s and the show proved to be a major breakthrough for many actors who starred in the show.
Sars Gilbert, a well-known actress, director, and producer, and one of the creators and former co-hosts of The Talk, landed a role in Roseanne when she was just 13.
Gilbert played the role of Darlene Conner, the sarcastic middle child. This character gained immense popularity and brought her a number of awards, including two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
